School's out for the summer!!

Last days of school post! Ryan had a great first year in Kindergarten at Anna May Daulton Elementary School in MISD. His teacher was Mrs. Emilie Chiozza and she was great! Ryan's last day was June 1st. He was excited for the summer, but also a little bummed to not be with his friends and teacher each day. The first photo was his idea as he said he was "sad that school is over". He wasn't sad for long as he realized we have lots of fun plans ahead this summer.

Logan, Ryan & Ethan

Sweet brothers!

May 27th was Ethan's last day of preschool at Ridge Kids (Walnut Ridge Baptist Church). He went on Tues/Thurs 9-2:30pm. He had a great year and was lucky to have a class with mostly kids from our church, Rush Creek Mira Lagos. His teachers were also very sweet. The first half of the year was Mrs. Lauren and Mrs. Melissa, the second half of the year was Mrs. Melissa and Mrs. Bonnie. He asked when he was going back to school for a few days after it was over, but is now thrilled for more playtime at home and trips to Hawaiian Falls water park with our new season passes we received for Christmas.  Here are his last day photos:

Logan is 10 months old!

*Yep! Another belated post, but here it is!

Logan 10 months

12 month clothing
20lbs 2oz
Size 3 diapers

Teeth
#5 upper right one over May 5th
#6 upper left middle May 8th
#7 upper right middle May 15th

Walking along furniture holding on and sometimes tries to balance between the couch and the coffee table. Blowing kisses, dancing to music on his toys and sometimes radio. He is a happy and smiley baby, but definitely already starting to show that he has an opinion. Word: dis "this" and yes in response to many things.
Recently taught him what a fish "says" making fish faces with my mouth and now I say "what does a fish say?" And he does the mouth too. It's really cute. He is a smart little boy just like his brothers. He is a happy sweet little boy who while opinionated is definitely such a joy!!

New foods:
Scrambled eggs, sausage biscuits, fish, mushrooms, tomatoes, pasta (doesn't care for pasta- no surprise here...My kids are slow adapters) I take it back, that was the first try, he has eaten pasta with the sauce in baked ziti and LOVED it! Woohoo!

His favorite foods are absolutely any meat and bread/cracker item. He also enjoys most fruit items, but pretty limited with veggies he will actually pick up and not spit back out. Doesn't seem to be a huge dairy fan just yet (yogurt/cheeses). He loves beans and is back to enjoying oatmeal with whole milk.

Occasionally still waking once overnight, but finally consistently not nursing overnight again. Takes 2-3 naps a day 2hrs is usually the first one, an hour and a half to 2hrs for the second. If we aren't too busy he naps again for about 30-45 min while I prepare dinner around 5pm. Bedtime is 8pm and I wake him for school drop off around 7:30. Sometimes he wakes on his own a little after 7am. Nursing 4 times a day- When he wakes up, lunchtime, after school (around 4pm), then at bedtime.

Crawling everywhere!

Logan is 9 months old!

*Okay, I am terrible at posting these. Poor 3rd child. These posts just hang out for months on my phone notes until I have a chance to come upstairs and actually post them on our PC. Logan will be 11 months old at the end of this week, but here is his 9 mo post. Better late than never ;)

Logan 9 months

Logan is over baby food at this point and has tried many new table foods this month

New foods: goldfish, Ritz crackers, biscuits, mashed potatoes, hummus, refried beans, grapes, ham, pulled pork, cheddar cheese, blueberry muffins, hard boiled egg yolk, tortillas, Spanish rice

Teeth: #3 on 4/17/16 bottom right one over from middle two
#4 on 4/18/16 upper left one over from middle
(3 more across the top anytime in the next week! They are so close!)

Logan has finally decided to crawl with his knees instead of the army crawl he had stuck with the past 2 months. He is pulling up on furniture, but not often taking steps around. He is waving, clapping, saying "momma, dadda, bubba, hi, and up." He is a busy little boy and generally very happy. He has been a little more fussy lately due to teething and his recent double ear infection. He has begun crying briefly when I leave him at church or walk away from him at home, so a little separation anxiety I suppose. I remember it with his brothers as well. Hopefully it is short lived because it is always sad to hear him cry even though I know he is fine and having fun after I leave. One of Logan's favorite hobbies right now is crawling to the magazine rack and taking all the magazines out. He also has fun tearing out pages. Seriously, he has tons of toys, but this is the highlight of his day. He loves it! Enjoy the photos!

We love you Logan! 9 months old
